A nod to the 80’s fast forward some 25 years later and it appears as though everyone wanted to get in on the mid-drift action. Bare bellies were a fashion statement for the spring/summer 2013 with everyone from celebrities to your every day plain Jane donning the look. What some regarded as a questionable look, rooted in the trend some heated debates ensued, nevertheless the look prevailed for the better part of 2013. Black & White Plus Stripes Effect. Not that the two classic looks go hand in hand but this year the two looks were effortlessly interchangeable. Black and white were the most heavily used colors for the runways for both men and women for the spring/summer and winter/fall seasons.
